QuarkChain blockchain project developing a high-throughput blockchain to perform millions of transactions per minute has announced that everything is ready for the launch of its Testnet 2.0.
In their blog, the project team described the long journey they had made since the launch of Testnet 1.0 on July 9, 2018. QuarkChain engaged in a number of activities including stress tests, making the source code publicly available, holding numerous hackathons. As a result of their hard work, QuarkChain’s testnet started maintaining high efficiency and stability, which, according to the developers, «provided a solid basis for the validity of QuarkChain’s design concept, and also provided a lot of reference for the development of Testnet 2.0».
QuarkChain Testnet 1.0 was built in compliance with all blockchain technology standards, except that the token was a test one. The network, wallet, browser and virtual machine were provided with complete facilities.
The most important feature of Testnet 2.0 is its cryptocurrency mining facility. Users will be awarded with tQKC tokens, which can subsequently be exchanged for the cryptocurrency of QKC mainnet. The developers are currently working on the mining guide to be released very soon. They are urging everyone to test Testnet 2.0 and submit feedback on any bugs to testnet@quarkchain.io. Users will be rewarded in project tokens for any errors and vulnerabilities reported.
With this news, the QKC token has noticeably grown. From November 20 to November 22, it recorded a 27% growth.
