Today, Amazon has the largest product turnover out of all online platforms. The service attributes its popularity to its wide product selection. You can buy everything - from household appliances and clothing to books and movies. Online platforms don’t require enormous sales areas, just an online storefront and a warehouse containing all the items. Company founder Jeff Bezos came up with this idea in 1994, and he is now the richest person on the planet. Amazon’s success has allowed him to launch other projects as well, including aerospace company Blue Origin.
