Identification of the owner by fingerprint has long come to the world of smartphones and is increasingly used for various smart devices.

It is possible to lose the key or forget the code when using padlocks or a code lock. Tapplock One has created a padlock allowing the owners not to to look for a key or remember the code. You can open the lock with fingerprints, via Bluetooth and even typing a Morse code by pressing the power button. At least one of these three ways will suit you until there is a charge in the lock. The battery charges for two hours, and this is enough for a year of operations (or about 3500 unlocking). The remaining charge can be controlled using the Tapplock mobile application. The lock is charged through the magnetic contacts, so the only problem that can arise is that you lose the charging cord.

Tapplock One is protected from moisture and high temperatures. In addition, it is extremely durable. The lock has a metal body Zamak 3 from a special zinc alloy and an arc of 7 mm stainless steel. Thanks to the two-layer construction, it is almost impossible to break the lock.

The company raised $ 330,025 on Indiegogo platform in 2016 and it was 536% of the declared target. Now Tapplock One is entering the broad market and looking for retail partners.

The startup intends to give users the same convenience in everyday life as Apple's Touch ID technology brought to the world of smartphones. A lock costs $ 99 and it can be useful in order to protect against the theft of a motorcycle or bicycle. A smart function Tapplock One will allow you to remotely open a gate or garage for someone.
