Many online retailers require a separate registration and filling out different forms. A Belorussian startup called Tap2Pay offers to substantially simplify Internet purchases and perform them with a couple of clicks directly in a messenger. The service allows a retailer to create a special link to the good and a buyer immediately has all product info and an opportunity to pay for the purchase with assistance of a bot on the website or in the messenger by following the link. The link can be inserted in a post in social media, in an ad or in JavaScript code on a website.
Tap2Pay offers a technical solution only that makes the purchase easier. The purchase by itself is managed through already existing payment systems Visa, MasterCard and PayPal. The service is available in 55 countries and gives an opportunity to pay for Internet purchases through Facebook Messenger, Telegram and Viber.
Evgeny Palchevsky, the project founder believes the the mission of the project is to save users time.
Online retailers get the new and quick sales channel. Moreover Tap2Pay increases the conversion or, in other words, the number of users using service after they saw the offer because there is only one click needed to make a purchase.
A retailer gets an opportunity to combine automated sales with direct client communication. For example, in a bot chat, you can manually send a notification of a product that may be interesting for the user. User identification at the moment of purchase allows the seller to better understand who is the average buyer.
Tap2Pay is already used by several hundred online stores, including food delivery services, online stores, hosting and telecommunications companies.
