The very first flight of the Neptune balloon is scheduled for 2024.
The entire trip will take about 6 hours. During this time, the space balloon will climb up to a 30-kilometre height. Tourists can enjoy having two hours in the balloon, and then it will be time to return. The panoramic windows with a view of more than 700 km in all directions will enable tourists to view the sunrise through the eyes of an astronaut. Further entertainment includes a bar, snacks, and even high-speed internet access.
The balloon has been designed for nine people, including the pilot. Tourists will have the opportunity to move freely around the balloon, take photos and simply have a good time. Neptune will be fitted with emergency parachutes for participants, which will make the flight safer. The cost of the entire trip does not come cheap. However, it is considerably more inexpensive when compared to other major competitors. A single ticket will cost $ 125,000.
