Nike has recently debuted its latest model of self-lacing Adapt BB sneakers. They are equipped with a small motor and several sensors that track the position of your foot.
Nike released its first model of self-lacing sneakers, HyperAdapt 1.0, in 2016. In its latest line of smart shoes the company has advanced the ideas it had developed then and has since made the product more comfortable and more affordable. HyperAdapt sold for $720 while Adapt BB will cost $360.
These sneakers can be controlled in two ways: with the help of a button on the shoes or remotely from a mobile device. Controlling them remotely allows you to personalize your lacing settings.
The shoes are powered by a 505mAh battery. This should be enough for 10 to 20 hours of continuous use. The shoes also come with a wireless charger that could be ready in three hours.
