Description:

Zippie is a cryptocurrency developed in Hong Kong. Its goal is to build a global payment system. The developers have given much attention to creating a simple, intuitive interface which can be used with ease and with joy.

In the field of blockchain, the secure storage of secret keys plays a crucial role. To solve this problem, Zippie actively uses Shamir’s three-pass protocol. To explain it simply, identification data is split into two parts, and only one of them remains on the device.

Team:

Zippie’s team is made up of former employees of the Finnish mobile company, Jolla. All of them are experts; they have extensive experience in various fields. The team’s white paper contains links to their social media.

The founder of Zippie is Antti Aarnio, a co-founder and chairman of Jolla, who has fifteen years of experience in investment management.

Tokenization:

The volume of tokens is 1 billion.

Distribution:

  • 40% ecosystem
  • 25% sale of tokens
  • 20% team (2-year gradual transfer)
  • 15% company (2-year gradual transfer)

Pre-sale: 1 ETH (about $400 at the time) = 30,000 ZIPT, price: $0.013.

Private sale: 1 ETH (about $800 at the time) = 5,000 ZIPT, price: $0.16 (1,200% of the pre-sale).

The cost of 1 ZIPT is $0.069 (500% of the pre-sale).

Conclusion:

Blockchain projects are often too complicated for the normal person, but Zippie is an exception: this platform stands out from its competitors with its simplicity and incredible functionality. Also, a strong team with huge experience in working on mobile applications has been formed around Zippie, though they are rather weak in the area of blockchain. But in general, the project is quite promising.

My score is 8 points.
