For 8 bitcoins (approximately $ 56,000), the buyer will have access to 141.5 GB of data. The dump contains the following information about each of the 130 million visitors: full name, mobile phone number, email, login and password from the hotel site, home address, date of birth, date of arrival and departure, hotel ID, room number.

The seller claims to have obtained the database directly from one of the largest hotel chains in China, Huazhu Hotels Group Ltd.

In general, if someone needs a serious compromising material, then it is quite expensive.

In an official statement Huazhu reports that together with law enforcement agencies, a data leak investigation is underway. However, the company does not issue any clarifications about the hacking.

Specialists of the Chinese IB-company Zibao confirmed the authenticity of the data, which are exhibited as a lot. Apparently, the incident is to blame one of the employees of Huazhu, who published personal data in public access to GitHub.
