The Japanese company expects to start deliveries of the electric aircraft as early as 2022.
The Mk-5 SN2 is an electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. The plane is currently being flight-tested in the United States. It has been designed for individual flights for users up to 90kg. To operate the aircraft, you will need to have a special license.
The aircraft has two pairs of wings equipped with sixteen lifting engines and two vertical lifting propellers. Another propeller is located in the tail of the Mk-5, and the cockpit can be found at the rear of the plane.
The battery has 13.5 kWh of power, allowing enough time for an hour of flight and travelling about 160 km. In the case of an emergency, the aircraft comes equipped with a ballistic parachute.
