Boston Dynamics Spot fans are sure to love the robot puppy.
The Mini Pupper is an open-source construction kit based on the Raspberry Pi 4B microprocessor. It enables users to program and modify the device in any way they want. For example, connecting a lidar and a camera allows the robot to navigate space independently.
It weighs 560 grams and is just over 20 cm in length. It also has 4 legs along with 12 degrees of freedom of movement. The puppy can run and jump, and when fully charged, it can fully operate for twenty-five minutes. In addition, the robot's "emotions" appear in the form of emoticons and graphics on a small LCD screen. The complete assembly kit is selling now for $589.
