Sony is to produce drones

Sony's subsidiary Airpeak will provide video content production services.

As the Chinese brand DJI has left the US market, Sony is taking its first steps in the production of drones. The company showcased the Airpeak heavy quadcopter at CES 2021. The drone is capable of transporting a professional Alpha mirrorless camera, which makes it an indispensable companion when shooting movies, music videos, and other clips.

The device has a solid construction with bumpers and a pair of compartments for massive batteries. The diameter of the gadget is 60 cm. There is a stabilizer for a controlled suspension camera under the bottom of the quadcopter, and several more cameras are installed on the edges.
