An augmented reality-based application will save time you would have spent working in Photoshop and other graphic editors.
The digitization of visual objects takes a lot of time, so several companies are working on software that allows you to quickly convert an item to a digital format. One such tool was featured in Cyril Diagne’s recent video.
The video demonstrates how to quickly copy any image using a smartphone and paste it in the right document. Here we are dealing with a slightly modified augmented reality technology: instead of projecting virtual objects onto the real world, it allows you to bring real objects into the digital world.
According to the developer, thehis program is based on two technologies: the first one separates the object in the foreground from the background using machine learning, while the second technology allows you to insert it into a new background. The whole process takes about 6.,5 seconds.
