Last time the list of IOTA partners is becoming more and more impressive.  But the most exciting partnership has been concluded between IOTA and Volkswagen.

It is apparently that already in 2019 IOTA and Volkswagen will release cars that will work using blockchain.

In a press release IOTA wrote that they will release Digital CarPass. With the help of the IOTA blockbuster, developers will receive and collect data from cars. They will collect information about vehicle performance and  degree of environmental pollution. With the help of Tangle on the connected cars will be made automatic updating.

Cooperation between IOTA and Volkswagen began in January 2018. The Chief Digital Technology Officer (CDO) of Volkswagen, Johann Jungwirt joined the IOTA Supervisory Board.

The Volkswagen Group consists of 12 automotive brands. The most famous of them are Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley, Audi & Bugatti.
