Google has heeded the users of Home and Mini devices, who complained about the total breakdown of the gadgets because of the update.
Home and Mini firmware is usually updated automatically, without user participation. However, one of the latest updates caused the devices to glitch, and all attempts to reset the settings have failed.
The Company has acknowledged the bug’s presence and begun to analyse the reasons for the failure. Some users were concerned that the warranty period on their gadgets had expired. But Google has eventually agreed to exchange the broken devices for new ones, while the developers are preparing a patch to fix the problem. And the devices with the expired warranty period can also be exchanged.
