Annual Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas (USA) showcased a number of amazing devices intended for our four-legged friends.

Mousr, a mouse robot

Although cats were domesticated thousands of years ago, their hunting instincts are still strong in them. An animal needs to move a lot to maintain its body in good condition, therefore, people have invented lots of amusing toys for their pets. The development of technologies gradually removes the need for human participation in playing with pets, and gadgets such as Mousr come to the market to take over the job. The device can both operate independently and be controlled from a smartphone.

The “mouse” can move on any type of surface. One battery recharge lasts for 40 minutes of play.

Laika, your friend’s friend

It was not only "cat" gadgets the show featured. Laika is one of the projects designed primarily for dogs. This small device will keep your pet's company. It is equipped with a camera for you to check on your dog and it also has a treat tosser function.

Just like Mousr, Laika can either operate independently or be controlled by the dog’s master.
