The German company Volocopter is a pioneer in the urban air transport market. Now its two-seater multicopter has made its first crewed flight. The testing site was at Gimpo International Airport in Seoul.
The Volocoptor rose 50 meters into the air and flew about 3 km at 50 km/h. The company behind Volocopter had earlier opened a representative office in Singapore, focusing on the Asian market. In collaboration with Grab, the German company will identify the most promising routes in the biggest cities in the region.
