Enjoy Cat Food Design Created by Cats Themselves

Norwegian designers from Good Type company have created a unique font based on cat tail movements. It will be used by Smalls, a company specializing in cat food.

It is always important for a manufacturer to receive feedback from its customers. Some companies go even further and engage their customers in creating new products.  Representatives of the main customer base of animal feed manufacturer Smalls do not speak human language, but even that was not a problem.

Smalls decided that cat-inspired design could increase brand recognition and effectiveness of advertising, but it did not want to use stale images. It partnered with Norwegian design studio Good Type, who developed Adieu Smalls, a font based on cat tail movements, for Smalls.

The main features of Adieu Smalls are the absence of regular geometric forms and its conciseness symbolizing cats’ playful nature and grace. The font will adorn the company's website, its products and promotional materials.
