Charlie Lee decided to sell all his decided to sell all of his savings in Litecoin. The founder of the second bitcoin fork in the history explained that he did it to avoid conflicts of interest. Now Litecoin course won’t influence the project development.

Over the past year, Charlie Lee has tried not to publicly express his opinion on the Litecoin course, so that he is not accused of trying to influence the cost of the cryptocurrency for his profit. According to the developer, he was claimed for this many time, even when he just tweeted the news or his opinion about the price of Litecoin. Now personal interests will not harm the further development of the project.

Prior to the creation of one of the three major cryptocurrencies up to date, Charlie Lee worked as a developer at Google, and was also engaged in gold speculations.

Working in Google, Charlie learned about bitcoin and decided to buy one coin from his colleague when the rate was $ 30. A few months later, he developed his cryptocurrency, based on bitcoin, but with faster transaction speed and lower commissions.

In 2013 Charlie resigned from Google and got a job at the crypto-exchange Coinbase, and from the summer of 2017 he works only on improving Litecoin.

Thanks to the cryptocurrencies, Charley earned a sufficient fortune in order not to depend on the course of cryptocurrencies. He sold and donated almost all the Litecoins and kept  some collectible physical coins only.

After a while Charlie Lee addressed a twitt  to Satoshi Nakamoto himself, calling the mysterious creator of bitcoin to follow his example.

In case Satoshi Nakamoto decides to sell all his bitcoins, the course will crash. The appeal of Charlie Lee corresponds to the idea of decentralization, which is fundamental in the cryptocurrency world.
