White Motorcycle Concepts have unveiled its three-wheeled hybrid scooter idea. The company developed the scooter in collaboration with the Northamptonshire County Police.
Compared to the manufacturer's earlier models, the WMC300FR features enhanced aerodynamics. In addition, it has a unique air duct that allows the air to pass under the rider's seat. As a result, it reduces drag and cools the interior of the scooter.
The WMC300FR is powered by a Yamaha single-cylinder petrol engine capable of producing 28 HP. In addition, though, it is complemented by a 50-kW electric motor with two 56 V /12 A-h batteries. The electric scooter is designed to be used at low speeds, while the petrol engine will run when accelerating. As a result, CO2 emissions will be reduced by 50%.
