Thanks to a completely new revamped interface, the famous robot dog has mastered even more useful skills.
Boston Dynamics has posted a video demonstrating the increased capabilities of their Spot robot. With a robotic arm's assistance, the canine robot will now care for the garden, open doors, carry various objects, and even use machinery. Additionally, the robot has mastered how to jump over a rope, meaning that it has become far more agile and manoeuvrable.
The robot's software has been successfully updated, so it can now easily use a robotic arm, expanding its scope. The company will shortly release a unique tablet designed for the remote operation of Spot. The cost of the new and improved robot will be $ 74.500.
