One of the largest European events dedicated to blockchain technology, Blockchain Summit London 2018, was held on June 26th and 27th. More than 120 speakers were invited to discuss how blockchain is being used in a variety of areas - from fintech and insurance to media and entertainment. Speakers included representatives of companies such as Ripple, IBM, Heritage Sports Holdings, Circle, UNOPS, and ING.

The blockchain summit's program included exhibitions, lectures, and practical seminars. All speeches were devoted to blockchain or related areas. The participants had a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and learn different approaches to solving problems. Among them there were professionals from various fields: finance, insurance, logistics, utilities, media and entertainment, and many more.

More than 2500 participants attended the conference over the two days. Among the event's guests were the leaders of the cryptocurrency industry, developers, representatives of cryptoprojects, company executives, and investors.

There were dozens of well-known companies that were partners of the project: from British Petroleum and Shell, to Cisco and Orange.
