Chelsea Football Club and IT company Chelsea Digital Ventures have created a VR app for teaching soccer. Now anyone can take professional training.
Most training sessions of professional soccer players don’t need a lot of space – just a small piece of land will do. Perfect Play app runs the user through the drills and monitors the quality of their completion. The developers note that personal data about the physical characteristics of users stays private, remaining exclusively in the memory of the smartphone.
To practice tactics, your room is not enough anymore. It is better to do it on some sports ground or at least in your yard. The athlete needs to set out special markers on the ground (any objects will work) and methodically hone their movements, while the phone camera will control the quality of the feints. Applied properly, the application can replace football club classes.
If you sign up for the paid subscription, you will have access to master classes of best soccer players and other premium lessons. But even in the free mode, Perfect Play can become an indispensable assistant for people who want to get in perfect physical shape.
