Audi merges electric scooter and skateboard

This new gadget is called E-tron Scooter. Although it is currently positioned as a stand-alone product, the company does not rule out the possibility of selling it as a bonus for customers buying the company’s electric cars.

E-tron Scooter weighs in at just 12 kilograms, can be easily folded and reaches a maximum speed of 20 km/h, making it the perfect vehicle for quickly getting from point A to point B. For example, traveling from the subway stop to your workplace in the morning. A full charge is enough for one hour of driving, and the braking system features recuperation technology that allows drivers to charge their scooters when braking. The device can be charged from either a car power outlet or a regular one.

The device can be synchronized through Bluetooth, with the option of controlling it from your phone by selecting the appropriate security settings and other features. The display and all other electric elements are contained in its handle, which can be carried with just one hand. Similarly to a skateboard, drivers can alter the device’s directions by shifting their center of gravity.

E-tron has 4 wheels, so there’s no need to worry about its maneuverability. It is fitted with LED lights to make it more noticeable on the road. The device is available for purchase at a price of €2000.
