The new dish was called "Marrot". Not only does it look and taste like a carrot, but it also has all the nutrients found in the vegetable.
Many people know of lent and vegetarian dishes, where food prepared out of plant products looks and tastes like meat. However, not everyone knows that it can be the other way around. For example, Arby restaurant chain has introduced «Marrots», «carrots» made out of turkey meat setting a new trend in culinary art. This new movement is called «Megetables» and it champions the preparation of «vegetable» food from meat.
The new dish contains all the nutrients found in a carrot. To make the «Marrot», the chief carved a turkey and shaped the meat as a vegetable. The meat was then wrapped in gauze and a special film and vacuum-treated. At the final stage, the product was treated with carrot juice and fried.
Arby has already announced its plans to continue creating meat substitutes for vegetables.
