YCOM delivers the first-ever S1-X Extreme Electric Scooter

The scooters will be taking part in the eSkootr racing series.

While creating the S1-X, the developers drew on their experience making Volkswagen's high-speed electric car, which also took part in the race. As a result, the electric scooter is made from carbon fibre and aluminium. It comes equipped with two 6 kW electric motors and a 1.5 kWh lithium battery.

A torque transmission system secures the power balance between the wheels, making the scooter more robust. Weighing 35 kg, the S1-X can achieve speeds of up to 100 km/h. It's revealed that the scooter has been test-driven by sixteen different riders. Overall, thirty people will take part in the competition.
