The device displays a countdown on your wrist. It can also be used to tell the time.
Many people are curious about what’s in store for them. Con artists often take advantage of this human weakness, pretending to be fortune tellers and witches to turn a profit from gullible people.
Obviously, it’s impossible to find out the exact date of a person’s future death, because this depends on a lot of factors, most of which cannot be predicted. And yet there are already some devices on the market that can approximate this terrifying date.
The Tikker watch is one of them. Its creators have already raised the necessary funds on Kickstarter and are currently selling the accessory for $59. Based on your current age, the state of your health, bad habits and other parameters, the device can approximate the date you will die and display it on your wrist.
Tikker should not be taken too seriously. Its creators are not positioning it in this way, either. This device simply reminds its wearer that time is limited, and there is no point in putting things off for tomorrow.
This might seem to be a strange approach to motivation, but it’s worth saying that the idea is quite original, and there is definitely a market for the watch.
