Alan Turing is a famous English mathematician and cryptanalyst who managed to crack the German Enigma encoding machine. In remembrance of such an outstanding scientist, the Bank of England will issue a banknote with his image depicted on it. The event is planned to coincide with Turing's birthday.
The banknote will be secured with a metal hologram and a microchip with intricate designs reflecting the scientist's merits. According to the experts, it will be one of the most advanced security banknotes of its kind.
