French medical staff switches to Emergency Bikes. The vehicle has been developed by Wunderman Thompson Paris and ECox Enterprises, with the involvement of Urban Arrow.
A cyclist can easily avoid traffic jams and find a parking spot everywhere which makes the vehicle the best mode of transport, twice as fast as any motorist on the busy streets. Previously, electric bicycles were favoured mainly by delivery service employees. Now, this form of transportation has drawn the attention of emergency services.
The e-bike ambulance is equipped with a spacious container for medicines, a 140-decibel horn and a blue beacon LED light so that an Emergency Bike could be immediately recognized on the roads. Additionally, the Emergency Bike has a built-in USB port and a GPS unit. Having non-punctured tires means the cyclist is protected from accidental breakdowns. The device is powered by two 500 WH batteries with the maximum cycling range of 160 km.
