A research group at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) has developed a new four-legged robot control technology.
The RaiBo dog can move confidently and quickly even on precarious terrain, such as, for example, a sandy beach.
It is also known that the new artificial intelligence for this robot can make real-time decisions. This is required for RaiBo to quickly adapt to different types of terrain without advanced knowledge. For example, this means the four-legged robot can run along a sandy beach and then move without losing its balance on unstable and soft surfaces like an air mattress.
