For the first time, we saw the robot musician in 2017. Now Shimon is going on tour to promote his first album.

Robot Shimon is a unique music machine that can sing, dance, play the marimba, and also composes its songs. This robot's career doesn't stand still, and soon it's going to go on tour to support their first solo album.

Shimon writes lyrics and music, studying the work of mere mortals. At the moment, the robot's music base has more than fifty thousand compositions all in different styles. Robot songs, however, are more than just a copy of human music. You can see this by watching the video below.

The creator of Shimon is Professor Gil Weinberg. Mr Weinberg gives his robot a theme, in which the robot composes a musical composition based on this theme. Even though some of the robot’s words may seem ridiculous, many examples of human music can't boast deep meaning either.
