In a Reddit thread devoted to Bitcoin, a puzzle appeared worth 1 BTC. The user with the nickname “cryptogreetings” posted a picture with a cloud of words and numbers from Satoshi Nakamoto's article about Bitcoin. In the picture there are the release dates of articles referenced by Satoshi and important constants for the Bitcoin system, as well as a small image of an envelope, which is apparantly also important for solving the puzzle.

In the commentary to the picture, the author reported the following:

This work consists of logarithmically scaled words from the famous article of Satoshi Nakamoto. Various ideas inspired Satoshi to create a solution for the revolutionary transformation of modern socio-economics and industry. The work reflects the elements that helped bring this technology to life, and tests the strength of its security model. Something more is hidden in plain sight: a treasure hunt. 1 BTC is hidden in the work.

The author also gave the address of the prize wallet. So far, no one has received the award.

In discussing the puzzle, one user wrote that there are 239 BIP39 words in the image.

The author gave a small clue to this:

You can discard at least half of them. This is the first clue.

BIP39 is the standard for creating seed-phrases, or sets of several words, with which you can use to restore access to a wallet. In order to get the Bitcoin which is hidden in the picture you need to find 12 seed-words and establish their order.

The words in the puzzle are probably scaled depending on their value for the Bitcoin system. It is interesting that Satoshi's article contains 12 parts. Perhaps the author of the picture took one word from each part.

Another user complained that there was not enough clues. They suggested to the author to clarify whether Satoshi's article is needed to solve the problem or whether it is possible to find a solution by guessing and asked which wallet application the author used to place the prize on the wallet.

“Cryptogreetings” thanked them for the tip and said that he would consider their request next time.
