The South Korean technology giant has added a new feature to its Blockchain Keystore app store: users can now pay with the company's crypto currency.
Blockchain Keystore is a Samsung app store accessible only on the latest devices in several jurisdictions. It has been launched this summer as the company's is shifting its focus to blockchain.
Initially, Keystore supported only Ethereum blockchain, but it later added synchronisation with the decentralised application "Jupiter" and p2p "Mars" purse based on QR-code.
Updates involved the Galaxy S10 smartphone and later models.
The company has now added to the application the support of payment by Bitcoin and also Klaytn crypto currency, issued by Kakao - another large South Korean company.
Blockchain is currently one of the important areas where the company is actively involved. Blockchain smartphones are also produced by the Taiwanese company HTC, Israeli Sirin Labs and other manufacturers.
