LG to release a phone with three screens

The company’s official YouTube channel has aired a short and very curious video announcement featuring a new device - the smartphone with three displays.

The famous South Korean manufacturer has released a video announcement of a new smartphone with three screens. The video depicts one of the displays airing a video game, the second – charting a route, and the third one displaying messages.

The unusual gadget’s design draws on the concept of the LG V50 ThinQ, unveiled a few months earlier. That model, however, had only two displays, but the new device, resembling a book, features three with two located on the inner side and one - on the outer side. It remains a mystery how the technical specifics will be implemented - the third screen will probably be a removable accessory.

It is not clear whether the phone will be flexible, but the screens are most likely to be connected by hinges. The device will be officially unveiled this year on September 6th.
