LG provides the PuriCare mask with a microphone and speaker

Now the facemask can purify the air without causing inconvenience when making phone calls.

LG was one of the first electronics companies to manufacture protective face masks. It made its debut utilising HEPA filters and producing the air purification technology PuriCare. However, it was difficult to use the face mask whilst chatting on the phone as the voice became unintelligible.

The new PuriCare mask will eliminate this disadvantage, as it will be fitted with a built-in microphone and speaker for voice amplification. The innovation will allow users to talk on the phone without taking off their face masks or endangering their health. The residents of Thailand will be the first to test the device. The face masks will hit the shelves in August.
