Honda is primarily known as a car and motorcycle manufacturer, but the company also produces household appliances. Recently, the brand has outdone itself with the development of a lawnmower that can reach the speed of up to 240 km/h.
Honda’s partner, Team Dynamics, has released Mean Mower V2 lawnmower equipped with a 1000 cc 190-horspower Fireblade engine capable of accelerating the machine to record-breaking 240 km/h.
Needless to say that nobody is going to cut grass at this speed. Such a powerful machine was created with the purpose to participate in annual lawnmower races. Such competitions have been held since the 1960s with 215 km/h being the highest speed recorded to date. A new record would provide great advertising for the brand and increase its sales.
In addition to a 13 rpm engine, the device is equipped with cutting-edge electronics including a dashboard, fast gear shifting and traction control. The machine has a rear wheel drive. It is brilliant at performing its main function as well.
