Honda Mean Mower V2 already held the record for fastest speed which was later on taken away from it by another device. This time it has come back to the pedestal by accelerating to incredible 243 km/h. At the moment, the device has the best power to weight ratio.
What helps Mean Mower V2 to achieve such outstanding results is its engine that produces 200 horsepowers at 13 thousand revolutions per minute. It was borrowed from the CBR1000RR Fireblade motorcycle. The lawn mower is also equipped with an ultralight frame that contributes greatly to the machine’s excellent speed characteristics. Its other body parts were inherited from Honda HF 2622 lawn mowers. Honda assembled its record breaker in collaboration with British Touring, a British company organizing Team Dynamics races.
The title was reclaimed at Dekra Lausitzring race track in Germany boasting several other speed records. Honda Mean Mower V2 first became the world’s fastest lawn mower in 2013, and two years later, Viking T6 took away its champion status from it.
