DJI devises an unmanned SUV with a camera stabilizer

The company has patented the invention, but it is still unclear whether such a device will appear on the market.

The Chinese company DJI, famous for producing stabilizing systems and drones for cameras, has got a new patent.

The new compact SUV equipped with a stabilization system will enable to film smooth long passes. At the same time, the charge will allow for a much longer filming period compared with drones.

The DJI patent features drawings of a self-propelled four-wheeled base with a stabilization system installed on the body’s top. In addition, the developers separately specified that the platform will be fitted out with an autopilot system.

It is unclear whether DJI is going to produce the model, or the company has simply got the idea registered to prevent it from being appropriated by someone else.
