The Ebörd looks like an ordinary piece of furniture, but appearances are deceptive: over 50 charging coils powering the wireless charging surface are hidden under tabletop. For comparison: similar tables usually have no more than two coils, so their potential is significantly limited.
The device has enough power to charge up to 4 gadgets at a time. Moreover, it does not need to be connected to the grid as it can be powered by solar energy and even room lighting.
The Ebörd has a strong waterproof surface, so it can be used as a writing desk or even as a dining table. The gadget has its own surround sound system and LED lighting. It works on Qi, so you can charge the most advanced gadgets from any manufacturer.
The Ebörd can be pre-ordered at Indiegogo crowd funding site for $450 or $570 for the expanded version. The product will go on sale this autumn, and its price will then increase by 40%.
