Crypto-billionaire Brock Pierce worked as an actor at the Walt Disney Pictures studios at a young age. But due to his passion for video games Pierce left his creative career and started IT projects, and later switched to the cryptocurrency industry.

The first projects of Pierce were a multimedia company Digital Entertainment Network, which subsequently went bankrupt, and Internet Gaming Entertainment, which dealt with trading virtual assets in games.

The appearance of Bitcoin and capacities of the blockchain technology inspired Pierce to explore the world of cryptocurrencies. He in assisted  launch of dozens of projects, including Coinbase, Ethereum and Tether.

Today Brock Pierce is one of the most wealthy people in the world of cryptocurrencies. Pierce fortune ranges from $ 700 million to $ 1 billion Forbes according to Forbes estimations.

Recently Pierce decided to start a new blockchain project called Block.one. It is a decentralized charity organization where community members are to vote for funds distribution. The platform will be based on the  EOS.IO blockchain. EOS developers will also participate in the project.

Pierce will donate $ 1 billion to the foundation of the organization. According to Pierce, he does not regret to part with his fortune:

“I will make more money. I have no worries about it”.
