CappitaLand is one of Asia’s largest real estate companies. It is now finishing a grand project called «Raffles City Chongqing». With the main works already completed, the interior finishing is currently underway. Construction was launched 6 years ago, so completion of the complex will mean a lot to the company.

The development comprises 8 towers with 4 of them attracting the most attention. The point is that they are linked, at an altitude of 250 meters, by a giant sky bridge, which is, in fact, another building lying on its side. Named «Crystal», it is 300 meters long and slightly over 30 meters wide.

Assembling such a structure was no easy matter: «Crystal» was divided into 7 parts for the purpose with some of them assembled on the ground and the others in the air.

The complex will feature swimming pools, offices, residential apartments and shopping areas. The work is to be completed by the year-end.
