Don’t let it’s tough exterior fool you: the vehicle will be used as a limousine. And it can be yours for $2 thousand per day.
Affluent citizens who are tired of regular limousines and other premium cars will now have access to a new type of vehicle. It’s the TankLimo tank, which was built using two FV432 armored personnel carriers, which were produced between 1963 and 1980 for the British Army. The vehicle shares some characteristics with the American-made M113 armored personnel carrier.
The model is considered outdated by modern standards, but it is still used for military operations in combat service support units behind the front line.
TankLimo is made out of two vehicles welded together, which makes it 152 cm longer than a regular FV432, with a much more spacious passenger compartment. The two sets of running gear are fused together into a single system.
The dimensions of the vehicle are 670 x 243 cm. TankLimo is powered by a Rolls-Royce K60 6-cylinder engine that can develop 240 horsepower. It has a semi-automatic TX-200-4A transmission. The maximum speed it can achieve is 56 km/h.
As mentioned above, the vehicle was created purely for civilian purposes, which is why it is unarmed and its tank barrel has been cut down.
