This is a list of games that we've been waiting for... but don't count on seeing them this year:

Vampyr

A new game from the creators of Life is Strange, which the company directed all of its energy into, was to be released this year but the release has been postponed until the spring of 2018.

This time we won't see the already familiar interactive cinema although the creators promise that your choice, or rather your actions, will influence the plot. We will play as a doctor who turned into a vampire just as a mass virus strikes London in 1918. The hero now faces a painful choice: to help people as his profession demands or to become a bloodthirsty killer obsessed with increasing his strength. Thus, choosing what to do and whom to kill we will gradually turn our hero into either a noble doctor or a ruthless and damn strong vampire.

The description is a bit like Fables but let's see how Dontnod realizes its idea. Of one thing we can be sure: the atmosphere will be amazing because the developers specifically visited London for the maximum authenticity of locations and studied seriously the history of the city in the beginning of the 20th century.

Was due out: 2017.
Release rescheduled: Spring 2018
Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

In 2017 the creators of the first part of the cult classic "Mafia" promised us the most realistic RPG game ever about the medieval Czech Republic. However, they postponed the release to February of 2018. So it's not so long to wait now. We will play as a common blacksmith, Henry, who is forced to live in conditions of civil war and external threats from neighbors, for whom the Czech Republic of the 15th century is a tasty morsel.

The developers promise fully realistic gameplay: you will need to eat, sleep, repair weapons, learn to wield a sword.

This is your chance to try the role of an ordinary person, not a witch with superpowers, and even to look at medieval buildings which, according to the developers, are made according to the real drawings of the 15th century.

Was due out: 2017.
New release date: February 13, 2018
Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, Linux, Mac.

Cyberpunk 2077

By the way, about witches, CD Projekt RED has long stirred the interest of fans of the series about the gray-haired undead killer promising the release of a new project in the style of cyberpunk. If the Witcher was based on the book series of the Polish author Andzei Sapkowski, Cyberpunk 2077 is the heir of the desktop game Cyberpunk 2020.

Let's see how well the Poles will realize this idea this time. While CD Projekt promises us a lot of interesting things: character settings, open world, multifaceted leveling, and even multiplayer capabilities. It sounds a little too good to be true. But from the creators of the "Witcher" it is possible to expect a truly interesting breakthrough project.

Was due out: September 2017.
New release date: first quarter of 2019
Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows.

Red Dead Redemption 2

Absolutely nothing was known about the most anticipated game of 2017 for a long time: nobody knew who the main hero would be, nor the place where all the action would take place, and not even the time. More recently, the creators of the cult classic series GTA released a new trailer shedding light on what will happen in the game.

The main character will be the cynical and cruel robber Arthur Morgan - all according to the theme of westerns. Apparently this prequel to the original game will spend a lot of time on the history of the famous Dutchman - Van der Lind.

The rest remains behind the scenes but it's worth following the fan analysis of the trailer: most likely they will see something else interesting. In the meantime, we are looking forward to another masterpiece from Rockstar!

Was due out: Autumn 2017.
New release date: Spring 2018
Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One.
