New technology from Xiaomi will allow the user to charge electrical gadgets from a distance 

Mi Air Air Charge is a new development from Xiaomi that enables charging up to 5 devices simultaneously. The technology works at a distance of several meters and easily overcomes any physical obstacles.

Wireless charging of devices at a distance is possible thanks to millimeter-wave radiation, which transfers energy that enters the receiver and then is converted into electricity. Both the receiver and the emitter are positioned to make the radiation "targeted". This allows placing the device at a considerable distance from the charging.

The charger has 144 antennas forming up to 5 beams of radiation, which makes it possible to connect up to 5 different gadgets. The power of the station is limited to 5 W. It has not been announced yet when the new charger is going to be released in the market.
