Innovative technology allows people to produce oil out of plastic waste

The American company Honeywell International has discovered how to produce oil from plastic waste.

Currently, our daily consumption is harming the environment. Therefore, the major issue of recycling plastic waste is particularly acute. Honeywell International has made significant progress in this area with its recent announcement of its innovative technology.

Though we definitely know that producing oil from plastic waste is now possible, the company is yet to reveal the details. It is currently building a facility where these new developments will be performed. The plant will start operating in 2023.

Today, humanity recycles less than 2% of plastic. Honeywell International representatives reported that their approach could help bring that figure up to 90%.
