Hill Helicopters develops a new generation helicopter

The project perfectly reflects the company's vision of future personal transport.

The HX50 is a five-seater private helicopter. The vehicle is powered by a GT50 turboprop motor and a design power of 400 hp. The cockpit has a touchscreen display together with an integrated tactile response. Whilst the control system is simplified, an autopilot function is also available.

The HX50 comes equipped with a three-bladed main propeller and a closed tail rotor. The helicopter can transport loads up to 800 kg. Additionally, it can accelerate up to 260 km/h, with the top-flight range being 1300 km. Although the helicopter costs $650,000, the sheer number of orders is growing rapidly.
